The Irish Software Research Centre
Lero brings together leading software research teams from all seven Irish Universities and from two Irish Institutes of Technology in a coordinated centre of research excellence with a strong industry focus. The centre has raised the level and profile of Irish software research with such effect that it is now one of the best known and highly regarded software-related research centres in the world. Lero interfaces with a wide range of industry, state agencies, educational bodies and international collaborators to deliver on its twin goals of research excellence and social and economic relevance.
The ALECS fellowship programme is coordinated by Lero, at the University of Limerick. All fourteen ALECS academic supervisors are leading Lero researchers.
Fellows will undertake their fellowship in Ireland at their ALECS academic supervisor’s university.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 754489.
